About Us
B & C Construction Co. was founded in 1963 by Jim Burns and Talmadge Cox. B & C’s primary focus was installing sewer and water for developments and numerous water main extension projects for various Water Districts in the upstate.
In 1988 B & C Construction Co. was purchased by Strange Brothers Grading and continues to serve the Upstate area of South Carolina General Contractors, Developers and Municipalities installing water and sewer lines, pump stations, and storm drains for Residential, Commercial, and Institutional projects.

We strive to keep safety at the forefront of our operations and have implemented numerous standards and protocols over the years to facilitate a safe and healthy working environment. We have currently worked over 545,000 hours (941 days) since our last lost time accident. Our current EMR is 0.84.
